Re. Taiwan cap-equip spending plans: "For every US$100 in earnings, Taiwan plans to spend $110 in investment" Sounds more like cable, cellular companies, etc. at start up which plan to build an asset base over many years which ultimately will generate profits once the buildout nears completion. However, I'm not sure the philosophy works as well in a fully competitive environment. Ian.
