The downside of buying 8 for 1 warrants is that they do not react as leveraged warrants. I also didn't like BARRW's 4/1 for that reason. The warrants usually won't move point for point with the stock (unless some investors aren't paying attention). In this case the warrant value will only move in 1/8th increments, since 8 are needed to buy one share. Although ALZA is a good company, money is better spent on a leveraged warrant. JMHO.
