"Amazon is gaining because of the earnings and the acquisitions in Europe," said Conley Turner, Internet analyst at Wall Street Strategies, a reasearch firm. "They virtually have no competition. Barnes & Noble (Inc. ) and Borders (Group Inc. ) can't really touch them." This was in the general internet stock press release I posted. Clearly, Conley Turner gave no reason why. Can anyone come up with a reason? Glenn
