Well Jojo, the first rule of buying a system is kiss. Keep it simple stupid ( note; this is in no way a personal reference ) Tranlated, What system with the fewest number of processors will do the job. I believe that 99 out of a 100 will be ( bill clinton in tahiti in 1740 estactic) with a 600 mhz alpha. The fact that it costs 1/10 as much as anything comparable from SGI my also influence the buying decision.
