No kidding Mike. I've been with this stock since 3 and bought all the way down to .5 . H&Q story out tonight may have something to do with it, Silicon Valley Research to Present at Hambrecht & Quist Technology '98 Conference

HAMBRECHT & QUIST TECHNOLOGY '98 CONFERENCE, SAN FRANCISCO --

Silicon Valley Research

Founded in 1979, Silicon Valley Research, Inc. (SVR) develops and markets advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software used by integrated circuit vendors and manufacturers to create the physical design of their integrated circuits (ICs).

An international company with sales and support offices in North America, Asia and Europe, SVR is continuing to provide electronic design engineer customers with the quality tools of today for the complex Deep Submicron (DSM) IC designs of tomorrow.

For years, SVR worked like a lab, developing innovative tools for the giants of the industry, including the first place and route tool and the first commercial area router.

Today, the Company is pushing the envelope even further with easy-to-use, efficient tools that are designed to fit in your flow. Tools that are flexible enough to meet the challenges of future requirements, such as DSM layout, where interconnect-based issues are encountered more and more in each and every design.

Putting Design Implementation Within Reach

The complexity of designs and the interrelationship between tools and design methodologies has led SVR to a new frontier in design services. The Company has grown recently to include the expert design team of Quality I.C. Corporation. The Company's design consulting services based in Austin, Texas offer a full range of services and expertise to meet any design need.

Together, the Company's staff of electronic design engineers and suite of production proven layout tools, can help to meet any design challenge --
from library design to physical layout to I.P. development -- and every step in between.

Keys to Deep Submicron Layout

Today's higher densities in interconnect-dominated deep submicron designs require more routing layers and create new challenges, such as complex analog effects that complicate device timing. Success depends on the right layout tools. SVR's quality tools -- GARDS(TM), SC(TM), and FloorPlacer(R)
-- help to meet tight deadlines by impacting everything, including die size, timing, signal integrity and time-to-market.

SVR works with major IC design companies as partners to bring the client certified integration solutions guaranteed to fit in the client's design flow. The Company's partnerships include Cadence 'Connections', Mentor Graphics 'OpenDoor', Synopsys 'In-Sync' and 'TAP-in' programs.

Representative Customers of SVR include AMD, Cannon, Daewoo, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai, Linear Technology, Motorola, NEC, OKI Semiconductor, Orbit Semiconductor, Rohm, Samsung, Sony, Texas Instruments and Yamaha.

SVR is dedicated to providing high-quality results on time, every time --
focusing on methodology consulting, design flow implementation, high-end physical design tool solutions and strategic partnering. In depth information about SVR's products and services can be found on the Company's web site at svri.com.
