Gary, I had both eyes corrected via a BEAM laser and am at 20/20 for distance. Since I formerly had bi-focals for reading as well, my opthamologist "undercorrected" my left eye allowing me to read without using "cheaters" except sometimes in dim light for guess what- yes the stock tables. I 'm also long in LCAV and BEAM and hedged about a year ago in buying some VISX. You might say I've seen the light and am a true believer.
