LT, I'm not leveraged. I don't buy on margin (never have) and my turnover is very low. I've been investing for about thirty five years and remember October 1987. And you know what? In the long run it didn't matter.

Now, in terms of interest rates, the only ones that matter to the market are long term rates. [There is excellent statistical evidence for this point, but I'm not going to cite that stuff here.] Long term rates are not set by the Fed. What evidence do you have that long term rates are going higher?
