Notes from H&Q:
IOM's presentation was sparsely attended. The breakout session was pretty full, but not a lot of tough or insightful questions. Fairly boring presentation. Really seem to be pushing Clik!, had a working prototype in breakout which they used to take a picture with a digital camera. Iomega had built the attachment and casing for drive and battery (has it's own separate battery, does not draw from camera). Camera maker apparently not involved in development (can't remember camera company).Seemed to work fine. Engineer type said Clik will work no problem when camera in motion. Only problem might be if it is actually struck by something just as you are taking picture, which would cause the head to momentarily jump.

It is clear they are being much more forthcoming with numbers of drives being shipped. Nothing new about Nomai that hasn't already been printed. Still looking for CEO (Could be 3-6 months). Still think ZIP will be new floppy.

My gut feeling was pretty neutral. They seem a little embattled (no surprise) but generally presented themselves well. I liked Len Purkis, seems a straight up guy. To me,it all boils down to whether you think that there really is a need for a new floppy, and if so, whether zip will be it.
ALso they seem to be pretty high on Clik, which is slightly better than vaporware now. They state it will ship in 2nd half.
