August, as far as I am concerned, anyone can jump in on any conversation at Feelings. However, when you throw in Frank Zappa, I rapidly become confused as to what exactly you are saying about representative government in America. Does everyone know that the colonists did not really want to become independent from England? That they felt they had no choice except to take a stand over taxation without representation in that funny situation where all the tea ended up in Boston Harbor, but that they did not want to go to war? I think much about the early history of America has been smoothed over, embellished, glamorized, and doesn't have a lot of relationship to what really happened. I believe that as a nation we have bad KARMA, and that until we make whole our relationships with blacks that we brought here as slaves, Native Americans we committed genocide against, and the environment we have generally trashed, things will not really go well for us. Did I say yet that George Washington may well have been bisexual?
