They haven't needed to. They have rejected the Vapor! toy time and time again through all of its No.hand and Vapor! incarnations.

Vapor! is Too unreliable. Too power-hungry. and Too bulky.

And...any bump while in operation will likely cause irreparable harm to the heads and disc, as it is a magnetic disc drive system.
