pcquote thru a proxy server?? I am trying to get pcquote to work with a proxy server, and was wondering if anyone here has this working. The intent is to run pcquote on its own machine in a home lan, and have it use to the other home lan machine that has the modem, in order to get to its pcquote server. I have this proxy setup working ok, using Wingate as the proxy server, and a program called AutoSOCKs on the pcquote machine, to cause pcquote traffic over to the Wingate machine - Netscape works ok from the pcquote machine, as well as RealAudio, but pcquote keeps saying "timed out" just after its started. In the meantime, am talking to all sorts of tech support people, pcquote and Wingate, to get this working - seems pcquote uses some non-standard tcpip ports for communication. So, if anyone here has pcquote working in this type of setup, I would appreciate knowing the details.
