Thanks for the cc summary! I haven't been able to listen to the call, and much appreciate your highlights. You quote:

You seem to interpret this as implying that Orckit is working with Fujitsu Japan - I'd read it rather the opposite way: each company won part of the tender for this trial, so they are in direct competition for any deployment that may result.
