The best site for technical books and rare books on the net (amoung other books) is Powells at powells.com Try it. The Washington Post called it "One of the best bookstores in the English-speaking world." The Washington Post and, "...if there's a new edition of the Bible, people expect God to be at Powell's to sign books." The Nation and this, "The best search engine in the book business." Internet World I did not make this up...its all written on powells.com and it is the fastest loading web page I have ever been to. With press like this AMZN is going to begin suffering to competition beginning this quarter. There are just too many BETTER places and CHEAPER places to buy books on the 'net...............;^)
