The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas and the Society of Broadcast
Engineers and Technicians of the Philippines are supporting Asia Broadcast
'98 incorporating Asia Cable & Satellite '98.
The two organizations noted the event's contribution to the broadcasting
industry.
Among the exhibitors joining Asia Broadcast '98 are Active Communication
Technology, Inc. (ACT, Inc.), Jennis & LeBlanc Communications, and Andrew
Corp.
Previously known as Adtronics Inc., ACT, Inc. is involved in
telecommunications and broadcasting; it designs, specifies, markets,
installs and services AM/FM/TV transmitter systems, broadcast towers/antenna
systems, and studio equipment for broadcast operators, as well as microwave
radio terminals, microwave towers/antenna systems, cellular base station
towers/antenna systems, and shelters for the telecommunications and cellular
telephone operators.
ACT, Inc. represents manufacturers/suppliers such as Vertical Technology,
Inc., Microwave Radio Corp., Comsat RSI, Microwave Network Systems,
Fidelipac Corp., Marti Electronics, Orban-Harman International, LCC Inc.,
SWR, Comsat RSI, Vertical Technology and Videotek.
Jennis & LeBlanc Communications is involved in the design and manufacture of
standard-and custom-designed communication towers and products; servicing of
ancillary equipment; and providing maintenance services and emergency
repairs.
Andrew Corp. is an international supplier of electronics communications
equipment and services. Its markets are wireless communications including
cellular and land mobile radio, common carrier, private microwave, broadcast
corporate and government institutions.
Its products include terrestrial microwave, broadcast, cellular and earth
station antennas, HELIAX management, delivery and installation, and
inspection services.
Professional Video Inc. the exclusive distributor of JVC products, will be
showcasing digital VTR's, professional video cameras, color monitors,
digital effects generator and professional editing machines. The other
* exhibitors are Adtel Inc., Acrodyne, First Voice Services Corp., CPI Satcom
Division, Audio-Visual Driver Phils. and Radio Frequency Systems.
