You are absolutely correct. Probably it would have been better to state it in the form of "food chain" theory or "biospheres". The real significance is that the existing litho food chain can state basically intact with just a few accomodations (OPC-PSM-resists-tooling equipment) as opposed to having to completely re-engineer or develop a whole new food chain.
