I always thought that if a stock trade took place on a down tick, you consider that transaction a "sell" (knowing that someone had to buy at the same time of course) and if it takes place on an up-tick, then it was a "buy." Isn;t that the way all these computer programs determine stocks under accumulation versus liquidation?
