Trey,

<< GTE is interested in getting started, they dont want to upgrade their backbone network immediately. >>

I believe I read somewere that the Public Utility Comission (PUC) in GTE ILECs monopoly areas is considering complains by the local ISPs, that GTE is leveraging its monopoly to offer the ADSL service. And that supposedly the mid summer deployment is at least postponed till the end of the year. This would definetly explain the ORCTF price slide from $24 to $20.

If GTE could be stopped so could be BEL and US West. Suddenly PAIR and ADTN look not so bad??? Trey, am I wrong again???
