Do you know if this is a sell through number? Is it possible that number was sold to distributors who are stuck with those disks and that's why they are now showing up in surplus departments? <g>

Even if we ignore engineering data and believe that the XHD cartridges won't harm a zip drive, I still feel that the non-compatibility with the notebook drive makes these disks limited in use (you get what you pay for). I know that I would hate having data on one and not be able to use it on some zip drives. This effect will really be noticed once the 12.7mm zip drive starts shipping standard with notebooks. JMO.
