When the troops were there with Stormin' Norman, they shoulda stripped the oil fields from Saddam for US consumption. Wasn't it an unconditional surrender? We all could be enjoying 25 cent gallons of gas.

Someone might state that then we'd have to protect it. But then other enlightened individuals would ask: what are 2-3 of our aircraft carriers doing in the lake we call the Strait of Hormuz now?

The true cost of oil is more than $15-16 per barrel. With military cost it is around $100, according to a retired Admiral in Nebraska. I wish I knew what the true value of gold is with the Federal Reserve increasing our currency supply 351% in last 2 years.
