Problem with all DRIP programs is that you can't control the timing--you purchase the shares at certain set time of the month, or within a very narrow window. For high tech stocks with significantly volatility, what you save on commission is hardly worth the risk incurred in "wrong timing". Just my thoughts.

MaryAnn, Welcome to the land of Intelophiles! I wish you would take out all your assets from USRX and put it to work in INTC. I bought my first lot of INTC at $11 (split adjusted) in the fall of September, 1989, and have added every time Tom Kurlak (or Rick Whittington) downgraded the stock; or when the company announced a greater R&D budget or capital outlay. Partly as a result of this, I sleep well and live reasonably well, too.
