anybody hear of code 99 computer shutdown secret..somebody just
mentioned it to me..not sure if it is a hype or real..but supposedly
the interpeted meaning of code 99 to a mainframe computer signals
"cease all computer functions"...the person said it was an easy way
back in the sixties to maintain systems with an easy shutdown for
maintenance or repair..the person who told me this is trying to research it to see if there is some reality in this..
help..
