Now that you mention it Irish2 I wonder how close they have been sticking to this plan as outlined in their news release.

Image Power, Inc. (VSE: IPZ) , a leading developer of still image compression applications, is entering the embedded systems market with its next generation compression technologies. As part of the process, Image Power is working to port its technologies to the Windows CE
operating system as well as to embedded processors used in various office products and consumer appliances.

"Directing more of our resources towards the evolving embedded markets maximizes the return on the investment we have already made in the desktop market," said Stephen Swift, President of Image Power. "Our goal of having our technologies 'built-in' to high volume office products and consumer appliances ensures both increased revenue growth and broad distribution for Image Power's core technologies," he said.

The Company has begun talks with several microprocessor semiconductor companies or "chip vendors" who provide chips for consumer appliances such as faxes, printers, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). Providing highly efficient compression technologies to the chip market
enables office products and consumer appliance manufacturers to deliver next generation products at lower prices. For example, multifunction peripherals (MFPs), a new class of color
imaging product combining fax, copying, printing and scanning capabilities in one device, require next generation compression technologies to meet low cost levels for consumermarkets.

Response at the conference indicated a growing demand for products able to deliver rich content to Internet/Intranet users through efficient compression.

The solution provided by Image Power is to effectively shrink the content by compressing the file size up to one twentieth of the original size. Image Power's Power Compressor and Viewer products are designed to meet this growing market. Demonstration versions are available at the Company's web site at
