Since there are so many astute players on the thread I would like to ask a couple of questions about illegal shortsellers.

1. If you illegally short a stock, you will receive capital from the sale, but if it is illegal where does the individual or MM record this asset in the year it was sold?

2. Is it recorded incognito, and more so is it reported to the IRS.

3. I think an illegal shortseller might have more problems with the IRS than the SEC?

4. How is illegal shortselling hidden in the books or do they just keep the capital for successfully screwing the shareholder and driving a company out of existence.

dj-just a change of pace
