I was there--just got back. The numbers cited here before were for G* revenues and Cyberstar revenues, not earnings. Also, remember that Loral has a 42% share of that 2 billion, not all of it. There has been no change really in the G* subscriber projections, but they are confident they can make them. The 590-600k subs by end 1999 is perhaps a bit of a lowering of expectations, and the gateway roleout has slipped a bit, but all in all is right on plan. G* sats will be in final orbit within 16 days--quite a feat.
Cyberstar--plan on 75% business(enterprise) and 25% consumer in 99. Significant that they mentioned it will use 2 Telstar transponders rather than one mentioned previously--more demand?
Zenit--very confident on vehicle, but also have options on 8 more Deltas, options on Zenits, and options on Soyuz.
G*--there will be no further cost growth--the software work is nearly complete.

No earth shattering revelations, but the business plan is intact. There are opportunities in SE Asia, and I am sure Loral will take advantage of them.
