The only info. I can get directly from them is the plant that they have here in DesPlaines, IL I go interested in the company because the plant was visible from my friend's window ... and when I asked him what DENTSPLY did, he didn't know so I did some research ... I also heard the company mentioned on the radio station and liked what I heard. After doing some investigation in them, I liked what I found and also noted that they (XRAY) bought a company that was once owned by the GIANT German company Siemens ... They also bought a company owned by GE ... As far as I know, no other company really competes with XRAY, they pretty much have the Dental (disposables and XARY equip) cornered ... I saw my dentist last month and 90% of what he buys, he buys from XRAY ... Now XRAY also bought a software company that is " fully-integrated software is used in managing both the dental front office as well as in maintaining a data base of information generated in the operatory's clinical environment." biz.yahoo.com softdent.com These guys really have their act together ... I wonder why the big boys are not following this one???
