VideoGuide was strickly a US operation. They retailed their product through Sears, RadioShack, etc. I am confident the technology was more than capable of handling foreign characters. The head designed for the hardware was chinese. I know VideoGuide was interested in expanding to foreign markets if they could get off the ground in the US.
