DRIPS are for LONG TERM investors. Ibexx statement about saving on
commissions is very true if the stock is not going up at the rate
intel has in the last year. I have made back my brokerage commissions
several times over in the appreciation of the value of my stock.

With intels DRIP (and most company plans) you can make automatic
monthly investments or do voluntary cash investments.

Also remember dividend re-investment plans do just that
they take your dividends and buy more stock with them,. which gives
you more stock in the long run. So my point is if your investing for
the long term why not take advantage of intels DRIP plan your really
not going to loose anything.

You can still call your broker and sell the shares not bought through
the plan or buy more and add them to the plan.

And to Gregs G's comment about 'What you can do for Intel', get your
purchasing agents to insist on 'intel inside' when they buy new pc's

Happy Investing (and re-investing)
