Hot Dam, finally a move, .06 cents
Received a copy of BB king several days back and only had a change a couple days ago to play with it. Packaging - pretty good, the only real negative on it is, they put shrink wrap on the box, which as an open book type setup. This defeats the effect of the open book approach. Marketing approach; since I don't know what they have planned, all I can give my thoughts. Put BB King in the music stores, Krogers, Target, department/grocery/drugs stores. The primary focus should be with music and secondary with software. Now to the meat: operating instructions; fairly simple and straight forward in CD cover insert, should probably put a sticker telling people to look inside for these instructions (some may not think to look here); BB King talks alittle about the instructions and could be enhanced alittle, but not critical; general program format, as always MXMX does this very well, the user actually drives the bus to differant locations either by following roads signs or map, at each location you can pick either the story or music clips; Music, what can I say, its BB King, if your a BB King fan, enough said; grahics, MXMX did a good job, though a couple appeared to be 2 dimensional art painting-type, I'd assume that's for effect; overall, good program for the everyday person / BB King fan that wants to take an hour or so and be entertained by BB. As I said in one of my earlier posts though, I would really love to put this in by truck CD player and lesson to the story's and music. In my opinion, sales would increase by many factors in this was possible. The everyday person would buy a musical CD that could be watched and thoroughly entertained on their computer than to buy a program to listen to music on their computer (computer only). It may sound like the same thing, but if you think about it, its not. This is a market that I feel MXMX could really do well in.
Well can't think of anything else, hopefully this well give everyone some food for thought. |
