Hopefully the name change won't confuse programmers who have in the past been loyal to Borland. Before I started doing window development, I had great respect for Borland and there ability to create a IDE that made programming easier. Several years ago however, our company switched to being a VC++ shop, because BORL's windows stuff wasn't as good, and they insisted on fighting with Microsoft and pushing OWL instead of adopting MFC. At the time we didn't like Microsoft as a company that much, but we really had no choice. When Java came along, we bought a copy of JBuilder to see how it was because it was a new language and we were curious what Borland had to offer. Had the company name at that time been Inprise, I probably wouldn't have bothered to try it - I probably wouldn't have even known that JBuilder was put actually out by Borland. I guess Del is counting on the fact that more people hate the name Borland than like it?

John.
