I just checked out my local Electronic Boutique as well here
in Toronto. According to the store manager, the pre-order for
Forshaken is doing quite well.
Forshaken sure got a lot of attention. EB has the whole front
glass display of the store dedicated to the display of Forshaken
posters, "big" pre-order game boxes (box of both N64 and PC).
The box cover look really cool too. The whole display look very
cool.
John Jiang was right in calling AKLM a "marketing company". And
boy do they have good stuff to market this time around. Can't wait
for Turok2, AllStar Baseball, QBC, SuperCross, WWFWarZone, ExtremeG2,
Shadownman, Igy's Recking' Ball, X-Men, Bust A Move 2, and SouthPark
to come out too. We may as well call the EB store Acclaim Boutique.
1998 will be a profitable year for AKLM.
