My post was misunderstood. One of the downsides of posts and e-mail. OF COURSE I know that revenue includes profit. I was responding to a post that seemed to be talking about revenue growth as only reflecting profit (or earnings), I sensed that the writer was using the term revenue and earnings to mean the same thing. I could have misunderstood the original post, as well.

My intent was not to confuse, but to clarify - I seemed to have failed on that objective.
