Hey, come on guys, I just saw this about meteor showers. The biggest risk to satellites are solar storms, that peak every 11 years. Next peak is due in 2000 or 2001 I believe. This is worse for low earth orbit stuff, but can also affect higher orbits from single point radiation failures. We know how to protect against that. But meteors? There is a lot of space out there!!!
