Dataquest sees big growth on the horizon for semiconductor industry. 1998 will grow at a moderate 8%, while 1999 growth is forecast to jump to 18%. A doubling is expected by 2002. biz.yahoo.com Notwithstanding the 8% growth this year, they do say that within the overall industry there will be select pockets of much stronger growth in 1998.
