Jim, as a "small-time" investor, I too have been waiting for Dell to "drop the ball". In fact I have been waiting for a bad report for the last 14 or 15 quarters or something like that. But the only problem is that it never seems to happen. I swapped out some Dell 6 months ago for CPQ because they seemed to run in tandem and I thought CPQ had more upside potential. They didn't. I swapped those CPQ's back to Dell because CPQ never really convinced me of anything (market leadership, quality product, etc..) Just the opposite of Dell.

You don't realize how many naysayers have shown up on this thread over the past couple of years. All of them would have been better off to just buy & hold & shut up.

But what do I know?
