I agree with most people here the Inprise name is ungainly. But then again Jocam or Yocam - it did not matter for the H&Q presentation. If Inprise has the tools and the vision and the revenue potential to grow to a $500 million company in a few years then I guess I really don't care what they call the once ugly and forsaken duckling - Inprise, Borlandoroni, InfoNetSchMeiser, JocamsLoveChild...

But still Inprise... ouch... grating... Hmmm... Maybe then again that was the point - tough to forget such a harsh name... You kind of have to repeat it a few times and then it sticks... Hmmm... perhaps Bart Simpson corny like brilliance...

The essence of the company (Inprise in case anyone forgot) is the R&D people, the leadership (Yocam's gang) and soon the services group. As long as these guys don't go on a hike to la-la land we'll do all right.

Actually getting comfortable with the name already (and missing the old Borland name already).

Name of the thread has to be changed to Inprise(Borland). Glad they did not make it Inrpise International as in Borland International - putting Int'l after a name these days seems redundant redundant.

Shane.
