Mark, of course God would want everyone to be able to relate to her in the way that is most optimal. However, I believe there is general agreement that God did not live on earth in ancient, tribal Israel. Jesus did.
I have noted already that what color Jesus was never gets responded to at Ask God in a specific way. The tribe that he came from was a dark-skinned, dark-haired people during that historical period. Certainly, it is a little strange over here, in that Jesus was apparently a very dark brown Jewish person, and there are some white supremacists and extremely anti-Semitic people over here who are the most fervid Jesus worshippers on this thread. It just doesn't make very much sense, does it?
I am absolutely positive Jesus would be abhorred by all the hate that is spewed in his name, at Jews and people of color. I just am very curious as to whether these people are pretending he was a white guy with blue eyes and blonde hair. |
