Joe formed SA a few months ago and distributed his ideas via email. In fact, Klaw (and his group) were original SA members and on the original email list. Then, Joe created his SI cafe thread for SA members so his posts would be available to everyone at the same time. His AOL members were getting the email's much faster than non-AOL members. The new web site cafe created by Jack Zahran is a paid service that grew from the email and SI thread, but is open for anyone (more or less - LOL) to join. The short answer is, yes, they are the same.
