Barron's did a puff piece on Avalon a while back... Barron's had an interview with the CEO of Avalon not too long ago. He struck me as an obnoxious gadfly who all but admitted he harrassed large holders of stock he felt were short candidates. Me, I lost all respect for them when they pushed DDIM stock hard, then bailed out and turned it into a short pick. I get the sense that they are just manipulators rather than accomplished stock pickers. DocStone
