John:

All of the following companies filed NT-10ks around 4/1 and did not file their 10k by 4/15. All Naz and NazSC, all over $5 (at least as of 4/17 they were).

DLBI
DYNX
EQMD
IICR
MRII
OZEMY
PAMC
SAGC
TRGI
TRII
WHEL

Some of them a sportin' "E"s at this point (see my earlier post). My thinking on this had been the same as yours...meaning that I thought this was a good once a year strategy for finding some potential shorts. Thing is that it works throughout the year since companies have fiscal years ending each month. (Hats off to Hank Greenberg for waking me up to the "it'll work every month" angle.) Obviously April 1st will see the most NT-10Ks in a given year but there should be at least one or two juicy ones in the off months as well.

BTW, I couldn't get Edgar-Online to search on "NT-10K" but found that it can be done at the NYU Edgar site. Yo, da NY Yoose site is ovah de-ah.....
