I understand what your saying, and where your coming from. What I was trying to point out though, that If you were lucky enough to buy this stock @ 22 or unlucky enough to pay 70, shouldn't effect how you evaluate the stock. Pretend every day you start with cash. Would you buy CUBE today VS XYZ. Hold unto CUBE until the answer is no.

Now obviously this ignores things like margin calls. For people who use margin, the equation is a little more tricky. The stock has to outperform the cost of capital.

My only additional comment would be, if you have multiple accounts at different firms, like I do, to perhaps aggregate them, such that when one is requiring a margin call other assets maybe doing well. Hope this helps... Rodger
