Hey, I understand, it just struck me as a reasonable explanation. With Datek, I guess I should realize by now that "reasonable" isn't applicable. I'm just waiting for my applications to come from MB Trading (they picked up the phone on the first ring when I called to request them), and I'm pretty much gone from Datek. My prime time is 9:30 to 10 AM, and Datek can't seem to execute in that time frame. They couldn't execute a short sell of KTEL before the closing bell today. I admit I only gave them 10 seconds, but the order was to sell on the bid, and there was an ISLD bid with plenty of size to cover it. 10 seconds should have been more than enough. I'll take a place where I may just be able to execute a little after 4 as well. It's probably just as well that I didn't take home an open KTEL position. Barb
