I was tipped on to PNLK by a fellow SI subscriber last week. I have no position in PNLK but I will watch it tomorrow and see what the trading activity is like since it may pull back or it may continue the climb that has occured in just the past couple of days. In any case, it has been very interesting to watch.

There appears to be a lot of enthusiasm for this stock, judging from the majority of the messages on this bulletin board. Search engines have appreciated steadily in value over the past couple of months and if this company has a reasonably well positioned web site that can attract business owners and trading companies, they may become a very useful resource for those businesses. There are many possibilities because trading companies are always looking for customers and PNLK could open up a lot of contacts to companies that are looking for potential customers. I own an import/export company and we do a lot of trade with Hong Kong and Japan. It is extremely difficult to find reliable trading partners that last for the long term. If PNLK's web site can facilitate the process of matching international buyers and sellers, they may be have hundreds if not thousands of subscribers within months if the quality of service is good. I reserve judgement for now since nothing has happened yet, i.e, the web site is not up but there is definitely a lot of potential here to do a lot of business. And, unlike retail customers on the internet, business customers are perfectly willing to pay for access to quality information.

Another scenario is that PNLK could very well act as a contract agent or even start up an on-line Customs brokerage to handle goods shipped between countries. There are hundreds of customs brokers in New York's airports and a quick, efficient way of handling international shipments through U.S. Customs is another service that they might offer their customers. Or, they could merely ask customs brokers to advertise on their site...

Regards,
Peter
