option I (and probably others) have probably never tried out. I can see where
doing this could be useful in some graphics-intensive programs, like some of the
"live" video type feeds or other frame-by-frame stuff. I found much smoother
operation at rr-vs.informatik.uni-ulm.de
, vol.it and crs4.it .

Just remember that the entire computer would be much slower on all things
if it weren't for your L2 cache. Try turning it off in your bios sometime and
see how much slower eveerything runs!
