Michael: I agree with you that KM is theoretically compatible with MR; although, I am still waiting for my copy of Data Storage to get a better understanding of the basis for this assessment. Can you elaborate on the IBM-sourced platters for the current KM tests? Based on the 2nd quarter 10Q, IBM and StorMedia submitted sample keepered platters (without signing non-disclosure agreements) while 3 others submitted sample keepered platters on a non-disclosure basis.
