Franklin Telecom's Fnet Subsidiary Plans to Build VoIP Network
=================
FNet has announced that it is planning to build a global VoIP Network,
utilizing Franklin Telecom's Tempest Data Voice Gateways. Its network will
be able to provide Internet telephony service through 12 domestic and
international POPs beginning in July. Eight of the POP's will come from a
previously announced strategy to collocate Internet telephone equipment at
select WorldCom sites in the US. FNet will use the Tempest gateways to
build the additional four POPs in international locations. FNet plans to
have at least 50 international cities operational for service by the end of
the year.

In a separate announcement, Franklin Telecom has announced that it is
spinning off its Internet telephony subsidiary, Fnet, as an independent
operation.
