Thread: The future is with COMPAQ. Take a look at this article (sorry if it has been posted):

Table 1 (worldwide market share) shows that IBM is a distant second. It is also evidence from the gap increase of their market shares (4.9% gap first quarter this year v. 1.8% first quarter last year).
Table 2 (US market) also shows that Dell is a distant second with 5.4% gap first quarter this year v. 5% gap first quarter last year. However, percent growth of both DELL and HP is significant.
