Appreciate your thoughts. But I'm not sure I'm representative of a negative trend on this thread. I agree with you re value, price points, and sticking to your convictions. My conviction, to clarify, is that the DDs *will* recover by year's end, that *most will* show 50%+ gains, and that WDC *may not* be among them.

I think WD is losing market share, has significant debt especially compared to QNTM and its mgmt team has not shown it can do well during trying times. Both SEG and QNTM have been fire-tested many more times than WD. It may well be a $30 stock efore 1998 is out, but the likelihood of that is less than SEG being a $39 stock and QNTM being a $36 stock, or, for that matter ADPT being a $34 stock.

Risk is *not* the issue risk/reward *is*.
