INTC is one of the very few high-growth tech stocks that pays a dividend.

Interesting question....

Why do companies pay dividends anyway? And why do investors like to own stocks with dividends? I've never understood that. There is no difference, because when they pay a dividend, the stock goes down the same amount. Whether the stock goes up, or whether you get the dividend, you still make the same amount of money.

Anyone?
