I remember how powerful the "we're #2, We try harder" campaign was for Avis Rent A Car. If VIVUS was to start up with this while the Viagra honey-moon is in full swing, the media will pick it up as a "story".
This backed by their current practice of targeting MD's with direct mail pieces could be a major ticket.
