So what's the damn deal here about this type of offering being "better" for the shareholders. Hello....
To get the rights you must have owned shares of the Co. as of a certain date. As a matter of fact you had to own 8 shares for each 1/2 warrant. The more shares you own, the more warrants you can get. If what you say is right, then all I had to do is buy 8 damn shares (1 maybe), and subscribe for as much as I want for the oversubscription and get the warrants for free?
Each warrant cost shareholders of this shitty Co. $2.00 for every 16 shares they had, then joe anybody comes along and picks up all the warrants he wants for $1.00 and needed not have more than $8.00 invested in this Co. That's crap in my book. Someone is sitting on a lot of warrants they don't deserve and will just dump them for whatever as they did not cost them anything. - denis
